Note: “License Key activates only from India” The same is mentioned on the product page and the main image, However, a workaround is mentioned below.

Part 1 – Installation Procedure

  • Before Installing: Uninstall previous builds: if you have an earlier version of ESET mobile security installed, make sure to uninstall previous builds before continuing.
  • Go to Google Play Store and search ESET Mobile Security. OR click on the below download button.
  • Tap on the “Install” button.
  • Once the app has been installed, “Open” the application.
  • Select your desired language and country and tap Next. By tapping Next, you agree to the terms of the End User License Agreement.
  • Select your preference for ESET LiveGrid, the Customer Experience Improvement Program, and ESET news and then tap Next.
  • Tap “Select your email address” & Tap Next.
  • Tap Trial.
  • Review the information and tap Continue in the Allow access screen and tap Allow. If you do not tap Allow, your installation will not continue. If you receive the “Screen overlay detected” message, you must resolve the permissions settings issue to close the Setup Wizard.

Part 2: Activation Procedure

  • Tap the menu icon on the top left of the application.
  • Tap License. 
  • Tap “Enter a License Key” at the bottom. 
  • Type your License Key (hyphens are added automatically) in the field and tap Activate.
  • When verification of your license is complete, Activation successful will be displayed. Tap Finish to close the window.  

Once ESET Mobile Security is activated, we recommend configuring Anti-Theft protection and adding a Trusted Friend to your device. You can use a Trusted friend’s phone and your enabled Anti-Theft account to help reset your Security password and restore access to your device if you forget or lose your Security password.
